I was driving home from Toronto this weekend and I saw a 71? GS or maybe a Skylark on Rt 31 not to far east of Military Road. It was on a lawn and had a for sale sign in the window.

I wanted to stop but I was running really late to get back to Albany and didn't have time. I'm going back out there for Easter and plan on taking another look.

    Anybody know the car?

Do you mean military turnpike near plattsburg? or are you talking Ontario?

I called about that one, the guy i talked to said it's a '72 Skylark with a GS hood. He also didn't make it sound that great.....so i did not go look at it, that was last week. Tonight at work a co- worker said there is a Skylark on 31 and it is fugly, but it's a four gear. I'll be going in the morning to make sure he is not mistaken!

    Jeff,

I'd be interested in what it looks like. Couldn't tell condition when I went by.

    Jeff,
No one wants a 4spd. Take some pics and send me his phone number!:Brow:

I think that one is advertised in the Buffalo News as a Skylark with a GS hood.. $1500.

    Karl,
You'll be glad you drove by it.:eek2:
I'm sure it will be there on Easter for ya.

    George,
False alarm....not a 4-gear, no digital camera, and no news paper in the house.....so no phone number. Not doing that good, sorry.:Dou:

    Mike,
    That's the one!

It did have a '72 GS hood with the holes in it for the front emblem...but that's it, no trim,no hood grills.
