GS hood lip

I know this part is tough to come by, but I need one. The chrome lip (front of hood) for 70 GS .

I have a 70 lark one. It is a little different from the GS one. It is nice condition.

 

70 hood lip for GS

I have one with a broken stud on the end . It mounts and fits great . It will have to be chrome plated to look good enough to be on an X 100.00 shipped .
When I sent pics to Pauls chrome plating they quoted me 300.00 .

Sorry for the delay getting back guys. Jeff, I have a good lark one, was really looking for the GS type.

John, I have a couple other leads to follow up locally first but if they don't pan out I'll take yours and rechrome. Mine has a 71 or 2 on it now but I'd like to try and get it changed fairly soon. I'll let you know by Tuesday evening.

Hey Eddie. . I've got a faily nice 70 GS hood trim. It does however, need to be replated... I believe all studs are intact. I'll look on saturday. The reason I say "MAYBE" I can help is this. . I need a nice hood trim for a 72 GS I'm restoring as we speak. Make you a deal if the others don't pan out. I'll send you my 70 GS trim INCLUDING SHIPPING if you'll send your 72 GS/Lark trim back to me with $100 check in the same box???? Hey there Moleary...Do you need a GS type hood trim? or will a Lark trim work for you? I have both. The GS trim is decent, straight, some minor REPAIRABLE pitting, nothing serious. Missing one pin I believe. Needs restored. $160 shipped. The standard Lark trim I have is very nice, from what I remember, its pretty much a street driver condition. $135 shipped. I have one being rechromed , looks like at least 300.00 to rechrome these . I sure hope they repoduce them . Will I be able to sell it for 500.00 when done ?
