Gs Badge...hard?

    Hey guys, i just bought i set of gs emblems for my body...question is is it hard to do myself or do i need to take it in again?...i would rather do all the work on my car but neww paint job just done so dont wanna mess it up

    Measure 2 times drill once. Make sure you get it centered and level.

    Dont Drill

    I have had great luck with 3-M trim adhesive tape, when i repainted our 68 i cut the tabs off the bigger emblems and trimmed the tape to stick the emblems on....thats was 6 years ago...still stuck! No holes to rust either...just my .02.

    Absolutely tape will work. Emblems are fastened by tape ALL the time!

    And they wont mar the paint...with road vibration, like the pins and nuts will. there are a thousand pluses to using 2 sided trim tape.....
    Just rub area with rubbing alcohol that you will stick tape to......it's that easy, oh....and an exacto knife, and patience.

    Yup, my tags are taped on and they stay on at 140 MPH!

    I was so positive they used the pins and speednuts, I took the freakin fender bottom off :af: before I discovered they were taped on! They looked perfect.

    So there you go... :beer
