question just really got into buick, got a 71 skylark custom 350, had an accident, and now im going for a bit of a clone call me a fool but its what i want.. i just bought a good used ram air cleaner w/ a gs 400 sticker, prob doesnt mean a damn thing,....will it fit a buick 350 /4bl? lemme know... ps also got a new gs hood, will any modification need to be done to make it fit or does fit decently (got it from the parts place. com)
Year for year the GS and Skylark hoods will interchange. Your air cleaner sounds like it is from a 68 or 69 GS. If you have a 4 barrel it should fit the carb but not sure about how it would line up with the hood openings. There may be a bracket issue also. Good Luck Bob H.
I believe the vapor tube outlet for for a GS 400 cleaner is on the right side but for a GS 455 or a GS 350 to be correct and fit it must be on the left side. It will sit on the carb though.
