It was a great weekend me and my 3 girls took our 70 GS to a car show 200 miles away. Got rained on while we were traveling, the guy that was running the show (it was at a car dealership) let us use their car washer and cleaned the car back up. It was an overcast day no sun so the paint never got to really show off, but we still got a trophy:grin: It really is a pleasure to show this car and its a blast to have the people go around and around this car:grin: Thanks Rick PS my daughters are extremely proud of the car they have had there hands in it since day one and all up to the point of getting it ready to show.
Sounds awesome. I went along with my father to one on Sat. Got in a horrible storm on the way home. But, it was worth it. My wife and little boy had fun too.
Rick, nice to see the kids participating in the construction and work on preparing the car. A sense of reward and pride for their efforts, and the pride and recognition from their father. Especially since they are girls.
Adam thanks. My 2 oldest are twins they will be turning 15 this fall, drivers licenses this fall also.:ball: My youngest just turned 11 she's a little more timid. The twins like doing burnouts not the youngest. They all know the top guys and gals in NHRA. They make me pretty proud at these shows. I am not sure who enjoys them more me or them:grin: . All I know we seem to be enjoy together rain or shine. Thanks Rick
