    Hi Everyone,
I just picked up a June 1994 Collectible Automobile magazine. It has a great 14 color page article on 65 - 72 GS's. BBall Sam's "Very Few" and his former GSX are featured. There is even a picture of Sam and "Mom". :TU: There is a pic of a '72 GS Stage 1 Sun Coupe with wheels that look like Chevelle SS's. I'm going to scan the 14 pages and email them to whoever wants them. :Comp: Email me at exner@shaw.ca if you want a copy of the article. They will be in JPG format. Here's a sample which is the cover of the magazine.

Always wondered where Bball Sam got the front tag depicted. I have never seen one except in mag articles.

He actually got the idea from Hugh Richardson-I remember at the 1987 GS Nationals and seeing Hugh's car on display-that type of front plate was on his car. Looks pretty cool!

    Hi Alan,
I will definitely get them off to you tonite. I just have to resize them which won't take long. Is the quality of the cover that I posted in this thread good enough? It's 400 x 500 and about 90K?

Don Vignet (spelling?) made it for me.
I gave it to the new owner when I sold

Its really dependent on the scanned page with the text on it, not the cover. Hard to say....when I did the articles I had to scan, post it, and view it on this site to get the size and resolution so it would display readable yet not be too huge for people to load.

do a search for me and stage2 and look for the articles I posted, right click on one of the text pages and view its properties.

Im running like a chicken with its head cut off trying to pack - I'll check in later....let me know how you make out.

If all else fails make it too good in quality and I'll resize it tomorrow

I wonder if they'd have a problem with my publishing those pics on BuickStreet? I've received them them through a board member and they look great!

Nice detailed article. I glanced at one page so far an noticed that it said the 1970 ring gear was a 8.5 and that the stage 1 option cost $1196.00. I do not think so .

One that got me though was that a stage 1 car weighs 2.4 lbs more. What are talking about here heavier valves and springs?
