Hi. I’m greasing the driveline on my 67 Electra and the service procedure page mentions that I need grease gun adapters for the propeller shaft split spline & U joint:

Adapter #J-22513 and Nozzle & coupler Alemite #326375 or Equivalent.

I can’t find anything on these numbers on Google.
What are the adapters called today?
    Thanks

Get under there and see if what you have will work before you go chasing your tail. For all you know the U joints could have been replaced with no grease types.

True. But I don’t think that they have replaced the slip spline plug with a grease fitting.
However, I should check again, find and take the plug to local hydraulic shop and ask them.

IIRC I greased mine with a stock style tube, you know the ones with a slight bend.. You can get one side, and then rotate the driveshaft 180 and get the the other..

My car is a 65 Electra..

In some cases a needle adapter for the tip may come in handy if you can't get you can't get your gun to fit on the fitting correctly..

On the spline joint I just remove the plug & put in a grease fitting. When done re-install the plug or you may run into a vibration problem. On the CV joints you need a needle adapter you plug into the end of the grease fitting on the grease gun. DONE. ORIGINAL u-joints DID NOT have grease fittings & is a solid joint & stronger. Ones with fittings are replacements & are not as strong.
