Yes we did! Can always try stacking, put the HVH Super Sucker on top, lolol I’m going to play with my timing, I want 18/20 initial but only 33 total, I’d like to try 30 total see what that does for mph. MSD’s biggest bushing still allows 18* of centrifugal advance, I only want like 10* on top of 18/20 initial. Saw these on Team Chevelle forum,
loose 3500 and 411 2004r done. This is what is needed to keep the others at bay. car too heavy for anything less. Demko you going to try and get the stops for the dist it would help me I need more at idle.
I might pull my distributor this weekend and have a look to see if I can limit it’s advance for free 40 bucks seems like a lot of money for two tiny bushings, if I can’t find a way around it, guess I’ll pony up
Maybe brass hobby tubing, interference fit over msd large bushing, then file the two flats for slot clearance. Or a hardware bushing that fits pin and has right dia then add the flats.... You can measure dia of each msd bushing and determine the larger dia needed for 9,10, or 11 degrees advance. Any three would work out.
I made a couple already, haven't installed yet. Plus, they are lost right now in the bought/sold/moved my home base, after 23 years ....
