Brought this one back from the dead. With everyone in BG I figured it was as good a time as any to throw the motor in.
Paul, Your efforts looked like they payed off big time! BTW, now you can change your signature. No more 350 4 speed! :3gears:
Dave The break went fine, had to tighten the fuel line at the carb and pump on the fly but other than that, no problems. There's a wicked hesitation when I goose it. I think the accelerator pump might be be messed up but I called it a day at 9 o'clock. I can definitely hear the cam now. Hopefully it'll runnnnnnn!!!

Hey Paul.Looks real good!! :TU: Looks like mine without the Ram Air cleaner.Hell, you could prime/paint a B4B and still be a sleeper!! I run that cam also. How do you like it?? Long Live the Sleepers!!!! Later,Tony.
Just an update: Put the car on the ground after the new exhuast system, clutch woes and other issues. Got to drive it and ...... well...... It's the Balls!!!!!!!!!! I can't take off with out leaving rubber. Even in second gear doing 20 mph it'll rip em up! I got the ultimate compliment from my sister who is 6 months pregnant: "Paul, when you pulled out of my street, I actually felt the baby hit the back of my stomach" How's that for torque!
Nice!!! See, I figured you'd be in for a "different" type of ride.... :Brow: There's NOTHING like a big block 4-speed, huh??
Hey Paul, Glad you got the clutch issue worked out. What ended up being the problem? I'll have to make a trip out for a ride, convince me NOT to keep my TH350. :TU: Eric
Eric- One ride and it'll be easy! Trust me. The problem was I bent the disc. I followed the svc manual instructions on bending it back, measuring it and let it ride. Glad it works but I bought another clutch kit just in case.
Nice going Paul :TU: The members from other parts of the country don't know what 'psyched' is, I'll bet. Tell them you're "wicked psyched" instead
