Now what am I gonna do with it????? I checked, its spins with a breaker bar nicely. I guess I'll remove some junk, prime the pump, and compression check it. If the numbers are good, I guess I'll....................... :puzzled:

If it passes spec Dan. I'd say you could easily get into the 13's now!! Don's 70 SF motor in his green 70 Skylark got a port and polish on the heads. With 3.90's he was running 13.1's. Something to consider.

    Hey Joe,

Don sure got some runnin, cars there. I think he signed up here one day. Haven't seen him back yet. So what have you been up to these days?

    Kevin,

I saw the pictures of the black car. WOW! That is a beaut. I dunno what I'm gonna do yet. I was gonna try to get into my 350s heads this winter, but that might change. The 455 Regal concept sounds intriquing to me, but there can be many setbacks. First off, I can't afford a complete overhaul, so the whole rotating assembly would have to spec out real nice, secondly is all the differences between the 350 and the 455. I'm sure your familiar with that stuff :Brow: But in my case, I'd have to buy a new flywheel, clutch, PP etc. So as always, its a battle against the budget. O well, maybe I'll blow a huge hole through the block of my 350 and let that be my desision maker
BTW, my two favorite teams play each other tomorrow. I hate that game, but this year I think the Steelers got something for the Pats.

Actually the Duece was my brother's (Ratroaster). He did a little horsetrading with Don and the motor was part of the deal. I'm not sure if Dave still has the title. In PA you have to hand over the title when you scrap a car. I'm pretty sure he scrapped it in Ohio, so he may still have it. I remember him telling me something about 29,000 miles. The car was in pretty rough shape so everyone assumed it was 129,000. But you know how the enviroment handles cars in the Northeast. Maybe it just sat outside alot.
