Got a sniper today

I wanted a 70 chrome mirror, been looking for awhile, there are a couple on EBay and I was bidding on a driver side mirror. I was high bidder. There was another bid or so and I watched it this evening to see what was happening. At about 15 or 20 seconds I submitted one more bid, added more than I really wanted to pay, an odd dollar number. Wow, sniper came in and bid my exact bid, I got it cause I was first. My first sniper kill. I am sooo happy.
It's fun winning.

Which mirror did you get? I got the NOS mirror last night from 65GSDOUG.and almost got sniped with 20 seconds to go. Love putting in the .99 at the end of the amount.

That was a great looking mirror. I looked at it but it's not correct for my '72.

 

Damn, my snipe was beat again! Every time I que a snipe and lose, it was because somebody had a higher bid! (hint, hint) Even if their one-and-only bid was the first bid placed in the auction....

If you are not sniping you are paying too much for everything you buy. All buick stuff on ebay sells so high because everyone bids too early. Wait till at least the last day before you bid.
