Soak them for a couple of days before attempting to take them out with mouse milk, pb blaster etc before rounding off the heads and complicating the removal. They are easier to get to and soak while the engine is out on an engine stand . Once soaked turn them clockwise a moment first and then remove counterclockwise.

Throw the old hardware in the trash. You need to have a fresh set of grade 8 or grade 8 equivalent stainless bolts on hand to replace with the threads coated with anti seize. TA performance carries them. They are ARP. It is a good time to have them surfaced so they will not leak when reinstalled. All the material or residue needs to be removed from the block side too.

what I've seen Rod do in the past is weld a bigger nut(big enough for the bolt to fit in the center of the nut) on to the rounded bolt.

I don't know how much room you have to work with, or if you have a welder handy.

    Theres always torches!!

Got a dremel tool? You could try to cut a flathead into the bolt and then new bolts so it doesnt happen next time.

Again I don't understand your funny English:

"bc the heads are off the engine to be cleaned up b4 put back"

Does this mean the heads are off :Do No: ?

In that case, just take them to a workshop and weld a nut in place, like Danie' wrote.

Or just take off the heads with the exhaust manifolds still in place :Smarty:

Like he said weld a nut on the old one if it's stripped. And or use heat from a propane torch or better yet oxy acetaline.
