The igniter 2 kit I put in distributor broke. Two of the magnets came out of the magnetic wheel/plate causing misfire. Never would have seen it had I not flip the distributer over inspecting it.
That freed up some cash for important performance upgrades. Hopefully the GS Nats are back on your schedule.
I've heard that happen to many people now after reading reviews. Maybe go talk to Ken at Everyday Performance about an HEI big cap distributor, once its installed (finally ) it works great.
Closure is a good thing, so many times these types of threads end without a cause and or fix..... Glad it's a cheap fix, dodging a bullet is a good thing too! Jim
