After less than a month from joining the board and posting a "car wanted" thread (back in Aug/Sept) , I was fortunate enough to find a 1968 Skylark Convertible to call my own! Found it through the board.......Board member Michael Kelly in Plano Texas. I have to applaud Michael's patience (took almost 2 months for it to arrive due to paperwork and shipping issues) and his honesty (the car is as he described it......no disappointments or surprises). The car is off to my trusted friend and mechanic for some TLC over the winter. Hopefully I can master posting pics, but its shown in my avatar That's it for now. Much more to follow......
Welcome to the board! How's that top lookin in that avatar....? Kinda reminds me of when I got mine:laugh: You'll love it here:beer
Adam, The fabric on the top is fried but the mechanism seems to be ok. It does raise and lower properly, the previous owner used this pic to illustrate that it works..... More pics on the way!
