Good pics of rear drums with parking brake?

The 70 GS I bought as a roller with rebuilt rear end had absolutely nothing behind the drums. I think I ordered all the correct parking brake, adjusters, springs and brake parts but need to see pictures of exactly how they go together on both driver and passenger sides.

Anyone have any good close up pics? Thanks

 

I have these when I worked on my rear brakes. This is the driver side.

There are two long (primary) brake shoes and two short (secondary) brake shoes when you order a kit for both sides.
Make sure that you use the ones with the long brake shoe lining at the rear on each side.

 

Also, lubricate these eight points on the anchor plate with brake lubricant:

 

I once replaced the back drum brakes in my 1980 Datsun Diesel pickup in a pullout on the Trans Canada Highway. I pulled into the Last Spike Memorial parking lot since things just didn't feel right. Looked at the back tires, sighed, and started working. Got a lot of funny looks, but, hey, it just couldn't wait any longer. I had been planning to do this when I got home to Kamloops, but.... This was way back in 1988. I miss that little truck. It worked like a dog, had great running gear, but was starting to look like a Flintstone car. Holes you could see the road go by. Those old Datsun's were not made for the body to last, but that little engine just kept chugging along.

Forgot to mention, don't be surprised when you do the driver's (left) side, the hooks on the top of the two shoe return springs will appear inverted compared to right side. That's because the same springs are used on both sides, so one side will appear flipped compared to the other, if that makes sense.
