OK, I just did a cam change, Buick 350. Engine was very tight with excellent oil pressure all around. I cleaned everything up, put in the new cam and reassembled the motor. When I primed the pump I heard a clicking from the regulator, but thought maybe the vaseline was causing the regulator to "stick" or something, after all it was great before, just wanted a different cam. Bottom end of motor was not even touched. So not when it starts I have 60lbs cold and after it warms up, I have 10-15lbs at idle (1000 RPMs) At 3000 RPS driving I have 25lbs..... where I used to have 50lbs. THat concerns me. It seems like the regulator isn't working? I have T/A's set up, with a booster plate, adjustable regulator etc..... What could be the cause? Thanks, Jon
