Sorry to put this on the board, but I am proud of my son making it to kids state wrestling at 8 and under 58lbs. This is the second time in three years, and with the hard time I have had keeping him interested this year, this is unexpected. Thanks for letting me say how proud I am of him. Pete:grin:
That's awesome Pete!!! Quite an accomplishment..I wrestled for 6 years and wish I would have followed it through college too. He should continue, it's great training for other sports and the longer he does it the more he will like it. Way to go!:TU:
very very cool!:grin: i wish i had started wrestling at that age. i wrestled all through high school at 119. in california i went to the cif finals 3 times, and the cif masters 2 times. missed making the state finals by 1 point. my oponent won by stalling the whole 3rd period and took the last spot. i was nineth in all of southern section though:grin: i hope he sticks with it though. keep me informed and wish him luck!!!:beer :grin: :TU: pete
