My wife and I a flying to Las Vegas 3-22-07 and staying til Mon morning. If there is anyone in or around that area (Calif, Nevada, Ariz, Utah area) that has a super nice 67-72 Skylark or GS for sale, let me know, maybe we can get together and look at it. I probably can't get too far out of the Vegas area, but if nothing else, we could maybe meet somewhere. I am looking for a nice car that I don't have to do anything with. Prefer bucket seats. Nothing in green, interior or exterior. I have 10 to 12K to spend. Let me know what you have, send me a PM, or email me at: JSimonson@TDS.net
Send me all the info you can, and photos would be great!

:Smarty: ON A SIDE NOTE, IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE US SOME SIGHTSEEING TIPS OR A TOUR OF THE CITY, I WOULD BE HONORED! WE HAVE NEVER BEEN OUT THERE. MY WIFE HAS A CONFERENCE TO ATTEND AND I WOULD HAVE SOME FREE TIME TO CHECK OUT CARS FOR SALE OR DO SOME TOURING. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

    John,
Make sure you go to the Stratosphere and check out the rides at the top. The Big Shot is pretty neat, just make sure you eat AFTER you ride it-not before:laugh: There is also a pretty nice car collection on the top floor of the Imperial Palace Hotel.:TU: And come to think of it Carroll Shelby has his business somewhere on north side of town right off of I-15. Its between town and the Speedway. Vegas is a huge town and still growing rapidly, lots to see, just dont let'em take your money:grin:

Visit the Duesenberg Auto Museum inside the Imperial Casino.

Go to the ticket counter for one of these an hour ahead of time and pick up tickets for great seats reserved but not claimed. They are all great shows.

    Hey Jon ,
    There's a 69 Skylark convertible with a 455 and it looks nice on Vegas Craigslist for $ 8500 ! I'd check it out .
Good Luck and have fun .

If you have the time see one of the big Cirque Du Soleil shows. The cheapest tickets are from their own website. Do NOT go to see Zumanity it's awful, but the rest are amazing. You might not be able to get a ticket this late.

They are pricey but the shows are unlike anything you'll ever see anywhere else. In Ka there is one scene where there's a battle between two groups that takes place on a wall. It's mind bending how they do it, but they run up and down the wall fighting each other. Wherever their feet touch the wall the lights ripple around their feet, like a pebble dropped in water.

My wife and I like to spend 2 days outside vegas for each day at the strip. Red Rocks, valley of fire, a dinner cruise on lake Mead are all nice alternatives to the strip.

You're going to shake your head but I recommend the Liberace museum. I'm not a Liberace fan but I went on the word of a friend and it was pretty cool. Seeing the costumes and cars up close is a hoot.

    Have fun!
