Well, on a lighter note, the acronym for the new division will be the same as the Buick Performance Group :)

This is disappointing news, however, it's better than getting canned like oldz..... I guess..

    sigh..

olds was the only nameplate GM had that seemed that it was going anywhere... I'm sorry to say it but the current buick lineup is very poor. there is no styling in it at all. and I'm not sure the regal GS is really all its cracked up to be. (though i did see a supercharged one a few days ago so 240 hp aint too bad)

the park ave is kinda neat with the portholes on the side but are they just stick on plastic pieces? and the rest of the styling looks just like the lesabre (and its looked like that since what 92?)
and since they dumped the riv they don't have any really nice looking car anymore. although they do get the rainier (bravada replacement) hmm.. i didnt know they offered a v8 on those things...

pontiac has there own styling and yes a few cars do look very simmilar but they have there own identifible style between the cars.

olds seemed to be the only nameplate with some edgyness to it.

alright sorry these are just my opinions thats all hopefully I don't get flamed too bad on it.

I guess its better than being canned...but if they are going to do that, they are taking the uniqueness out of Buick.
