Was talking to my brother on Thursday and we were talking pick-ups. He owns a 05 GMC SLE 4x4 Z71. I asked him "what's the Z71 package comprise of?" He said it comes with some trim changes, decals ect... As well as some skid plates on the underside. Also, that it comes with a stronger 5.3 (325 hp) as apposed to...300hp??? Is this true? I never heard of this. If so, what is the hp difference? And are there any other items the Z71 pkg offers? Thanks, Jim
Z71 options to create more HP is true dual exhaust. 4WD with a slight lift. As you see in my sig I have one but just 2WD and when I pull up beside a Z71 there is about a 4" diff in height. Better shocks (Bilstein) and possibly better (upgraded) wheels. Also I the extended cabs have true 4 droor, unlike my 3 door. :rant: Frank
