I was looking at some of my fenders that I have and looked at all of them and realized all lefts had the same part #'s and the rights as well(Different for each side).I thought that there would be different #'s for each year but found that this isn't true.Now,how about this.I have a 70 core support that has SAE70 on it and a 71 that has SAE71.Did the 72's just use the 71's only.Also,on what part of an inner fender would I find the stamped part #? Or don't they have them stamped on them?How about the core support? Did they have a part # as well? Pat
71 and 72 cores supports used the same 71 number. A 71-2 will still bolt up on a 70 body. The inners originally had stickers on them. I remember in the back of my mind the number is on the lip but I would have to look again to be sure.
