Nice pics Alan. Another local WA car gone awry on the East Coast. Hopefully Big Red played nice.

What's with the difference in rear-end height?

You got helper springs or air shocks on yours? And if so, do you need them???

I think GrittyKitty was Tuckin' his ittybitty Tail when BigRed asked if he wanted to go a few rounds :Brow:

Actually....BigRed sports Factory stock springs up front that were take off a Stage1 car very early in life and shelved. I got them 8 years ago, installed them, and then went through the process of finding rear springs that gave the car a approx. 1" rake - front rocker to rear rocker.

GrittyKitty is wearing, I believe, 35 year old original springs.

There is a considerable height difference up front, I just didn't post that pic - but here it is

That isn't much of a height difference. Wonder how much of a difference my car and Alan's would be? Here is mine and GrittyKitty:

I would be afraid that BigRed would pick on me and my stock 110k mile engine, with 2 inch exhaust!

I would have to stop at Jim W.'s first!

If any of you guys look at any factory photos you can see that the rear wheel well is only 1 inch or so above the rim.

Mine is exactly where it was when it came off the showroom floor. Look at Chris's pic. It's about 1 inch above the rim.

I think BigRed is on steroids.

Plus them bigass tires. :TU: :TU:

Here's another I scanned right out of the 69 brochure. The convertible is the same. About an inch above the top of the rim.
