Looking for leads on gaskets. I have searched high and low on the web, and have only found valve cover gaskets at one vendor, exhaust at another, and intake gaskets are nowhere to be found! If anyone has a source or sources, please share them with me and the other gasket-deficient nailheaders. Thanks!
Thanks much, actually found what I was looking for at TA Performance, but will keep PAE in mind for future needs.
Since you specifically mentioned the intake, Poston sells an intake gasket that blocks off the heat riser passages from the head to the intake under the carb. I also bought shim steel head gaskets from Poston. TA Performance also carries the nailhead gaskets, I bought my latest gaskets from them. Great service. Locally, I can get any gaskets thru the Victor line from PartsPlus, but the wait is just as long as waiting for TA Performance, as nothing is stocked locally. So I bought from TA so Dave can keep getting a paycheck.:grin:
