Just wanted to let everyone know that did respond to my problem of the gas smell when I was driving my Skylark, I think I got the problem solved . I thought I would try to take the easy and cheap way out and just go and buy a new gas cap $4.00 and see what might happen[I had one of those old lock caps ]. I filled up the tank and Iam pretty sure this did solve the problem, there was no smell of gas what so ever . Thanks for all the help and ideas from everyone . The best ride in Flushing Mich just got better . Dave
