gas guage no longer works

Not sure if this is the right section or not, so i apologize if i'm wrong.

My 1971 riviera has sat for about 2 months, and i go drive it yesterday and noticed the gas guage didn't move once I topped it off with fuel. It worked fine before I let it sit.

Any tips on how to fix it. If it's going to be a hassle, I'm considering just to not fix it, and fill up everytime i drive the car. (i almost have to fill up every time I drive it anyways :bla

make sure the ground is hooked up and not on rust. other than that, you may
have to pull it. jim
