My fuel gauge doesnt function properly, the needle generally sits between the oil and hot lights when i start the car, when the engines off it sits at half a tank. I just noticed today that whenever i pump the brake with the engine off and the key on, the fuel gauge needle continously drops from the half tank mark every time a pump the pedal. Vacuem problem? (also my brakes dont currently have pressure, rebuilding cylinders this weekend, dont know if this is part of the prob or not)
sounds like a ground problem..... check out the ground lead on the tank and at the point just inside the trunk where the tail lamps ground near the bottom part of the trunk latch Mike
