    Price Drop- 2800$ + S&H

I have decided to go a different direction with my Build, and am reluctantly going to sell my Assembled 455 Shortblock. This engine has taken me 3 years to build slowly through college. I have a little over 5k invested and am asking 3500$ OBO for everything that is listed. I have additional parts that can go with for a little more, listed at the bottom of this page.
I am located in Billings MT, and can be reached on here or on my cell (406)-697-0416 with any questions or requests for more pictures. I am willing to crate and ship this, if the buyer is willing to pay for it.
I will be listing this on ebay and locally as well.

'76 Block #1241735, Bored .060 over with Keith Black Kb357 Hypereutectic pistons
    Engine Clearances-
    Piston to wall; .0019
    Upper Ring Gap;.030
    Lower Ring Gap; .025
    Piston Deck; -.010
    4.372 Bore (Technically makes this engine a 468.5 c.i.)
Stock Rods & Crank, Crank was ground .010 and put together with .010 Speed pro bearings.

Engine Was also balanced, to the following weights in grams-
    Piston-877.1
    Rings-63.7
    Pin End Rod-242.0
    Crank End Rod-492.4
    Bearings-51.0
    Oil-6.0

The Only statistics I don't have anymore are the Sonic Checking sheet, The sonic checking was done at the start of the build in '09 and I have since misplaced the sheet. I also misplaced the oil clearances that I had written down :Dou:

Engine also has the following parts-
    ARP Rod Bolts
    Romac Billet Steel Harmonic Balancer
Main bearing cap bolts are stock.
    TA Performance balancer bolt
Cloyes Double roller Timing chain, 3 keyways
TA Performace Dual Grooved Teflon Coated Cam bearings
TA Performance 413 Cam, non hydraulic degreed at 9* advanced.
All Stainless Fasteners on the timing cover, distributor hold-down, water pump, oil pump, and Oil pan.
Stock 5/8 Pump pickup, and stock 5/8" oil suction passage
    Stock Windage tray
Includes new Carquest Motor mounts and new painted semi-gloss black Poston 455 frame pads with grade 8 fasteners to attach to the frame, block, and main motor mount bolt.
Fel-pro gaskets all around, aside from the oil pan gasket which is not installed nor included
Neoprene front and rear main seals.
    TA Performance Oil galley plugs
    Brass Freeze plugs
Rebuilt oil pump with new stock replacement gears, TA adjustable pressure regulator, Booster plate, and shims. Gears are shimmed at about .003

All crank oiling holes were chamfered, Main oil passage drilled out to 1/2", has fittings on the rear next to the cam plug for the oil pressure gauge hook up. The original pick up is tapped and plugged.
Oil passages into the timing cover were smoothed out on the timing cover and block side. Lifter valley edges were smoothed, LH deck hole oil was plugged, Timing cover passages were enlarged as well. I believe they were enlarged to 9/16" If my memory is working correctly.

Block casting ears were all cut down to allow for header clearance.
Block, timing cover, and pan were all primed and painted gloss black out of a spray gun, not a rattle can.
The Romac balancer was painted with Eastwoods Alumablast, and the timing marks were all detailed black. The marks on the timing cover were detailed silver.

If some one wants this engine and not the manual flywheel, I would be interested in it.
    Thanks,
    Jim N.
