I used Nicopp lines on my Wildcat. These are easy to bend. I bought a 25 foot roll of 3/8 and 1/4 plus some stainless gravel guard for each size.
I run -8AN fittings and push lok Hose. I also have a Robb Mc Fuel Sender Unit, https://www.robbmcperformance.com/products/1076_gmsend.html Attached is Jim Weise's instructions for running the hose.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ On my frame without the body,,,I looked at that hole in the rear for a fuel line runway.... Just haven't looked at the full body frame at this time..... figured worse goes to worse get out the hole saw if need...... Looks like I don't.....SWEET...
I replaced the old 5/16 with an inline tube 3/8 a number of years ago. The hardest part of getting it out was the tube clamp on top of the rear spring towers. It was rusted, small and in a very obnoxious spot. I finally cut a small hole in the trunk, used a ratchet extension both removing and replacing, then welded up the hole again. If you have the body off frame, just break that little bugger loose. Trust me.
I looked up those nicopp hand bendable lines and it looks pretty sweet! I’m leaning toward using That for the 3/8” feed line and 1/4” return. I can use earls compression fittings on the ends to convert over to -6 AN fittings. As from the pump to carb I’m looking at using hotrod fuel lines ptfe coated/ braided in black with -AN fittings.. As with the nicopp lines earls makes their own brand and multiple other car manufacturers such as volvo have been using this material for years.
