Hi Im looking for comments on a modified intake manifold. Should i raise the divider in the plenum or leave it as it is?
Very interesting! What kind of racing will you be doing?? I'm no expert but I think raising the plenum up would be a good idea, I think that by raising it, it help work against gravity. Even if you were circle track racing I think it would be better for distribution raising it. Unless there's something special about the dual plane manifold that I haven't concidered. Any experts out there, what do you thimk??? Good luck Gary G.
v8 bike Hi Gary Im building myself a v8 motorcycle with the engine transverse in the bike. By tilting the engine 23 backwards I can stuff the valvecover under my thighs when sitting on the bike.
I guess if the whole motor is going to be tilted, I wouldn't do anything to the plenum. It looked like it was trimmed down alittle already should be enough for alittle better performance.I'd like to see pictures of this when you're done, sounds like alot of custom work will need to be done, oil pan and pick up for sure.
