My father in-law bought this car new in 1973, drove it for a few years and then parked it in his garage for the last 20 years. He's finally asked me to sell it because he's moving. The interior is like new, not a single flaw, and comes with all the new car dangles and "welcome to Buick" 8-track cassette. The exterior is just starting to show its age but still in outstanding condition with no rust, dents or major flaws. Mechanically everything is in working order, I drove it 20 miles to check everything out, but all rubber should be replaced before extended driving. Here's a listing of the options from the purchase order: D3 - AM/FM Stereo 8 Track with front & rear dual speakers F1 - H78-15 Whitewall Tires G4 - Positive Traction Differential I6 - Air Conditioning K1 - Cornering Lights K2 - Speed Alert & Trip Odometer L1 - Soft Ray Tinted Glass M3 - Rear Window Defogger O1 - Door Guards P1 - Carpet Savers & Handy Mats Q1 - 6 way drivers power seat R1 - Power Windows R3 - Front Fender Light Monitors S3 - Cruise Master T1 - Electric Trunk Release T2 - Electric Door Locks V2 - Chrome Plated Wheels X6 - Wide Rocker Appearance Molding This may be the nicest unrestored boattail on the planet and since it has the right options and LSD rear its worth some good money but it does have to sell quickly so don't be afraid to make some offers. Brown exterior, light brown interior, 55,000 miles, all documentation from purchase order to copies of titles from NJ and IN. Asking $18,500 obo
I would be interested in the car if it was really rustfree. Do you have pictures of the undercarriage? Sometimes these cars can look perfect but rust away underneath if they are stored in the wrong climate. Is the A/C still working?
I just found a great pricing resource based on auction results over the past year. I'm dropping the price to $15,300 to align with a good condition car (not show quality). This is a rust free car but does have a couple of flaws, I'll take some more pics and post in the next day or two.
