Hi. I need to replace the front coil springs on my 66 Skylark GS. The old ones are worn out and someone put plastic or hard rubber spacer things inbetween but this won't go with the Danish inspection people. So I need new springs and they are not too easy to get hold of. In my catalogue from http://www.opgi.com they have a number of springs but none that will fit the GS. A friend of mine have some for an A-body Pontiac BB that might fit but I have been looking here there and everywhere for dimensions of the coil springs so we can compare. So, do any of you clever people know the dimensions (diameter, lenght and so on) of coil spings for a 66 Skylark GS equipped with a 401 nailhead BB or can anyone tell me where to look for information on this item?
