Well, now I need a front spindle for my 1970 GSX. With the power front disk brakes, what fits?
    Thanks

64-72 A body with disc brakes. You can get these brand new if you want.

Larry, I inquired about buying one of these new ones from a resto supplier and I managed to pry out of them that they are made in China. I found a used one.

67-69 firebird and camaro also , with upper arm change you can go to larger brakes from impala or like a 73 GS would have

actually you can use your factory drum spindels and use the disc brake mounting plates and alll those parts on them there is a little tab you have to grind off on the spindle...would save you 85 bucks im doing the same

Over the last 10 years have machined gobs of nice drum brake A-body & "67" Nova spindles to make them into factory disc spindles. The "little tab" also has to be counterbored & retapped to make it into a disc spindle, & one has to procure the correct large fine thread bolt (only recently avail from repro suppliers). All in all, not that tough a job if one has sent the time & money to make the jigs. Without such jigs, better have a few drum spindles to practice on. Good luck.

    Got Posi?
