Nicely done. I'm assuming this is for a non-AC car with those big magnets hanging down?

for mounting studs brazed to flatmetal "landings", body panel adhesive works well for attaching to the underside metal of a dash pad.
if speakers are a little too thick against a plastic duct, heat the duct some with a heat gun and press down enough to clear speaker. place a small piece of weatherstrip between speaker and duct when installing to keep duct from vibrating against speaker magnet if needed.

GS.jpg I went to custom audio sounds website .if you look under radios for skylark they list accessories. one is a dual speaker for the front which comes with a bracket that uses the mounting stud from original speaker. comes with leads. the other are speakers for kick panels both sound great. with the dash speaker i really didn't need the kick panels. but i had a four speaker radio cassette so i used them . cost of dash speaker wasn't that much compared to trying to build something.

    www.classiccarstereos.com speakers- buick part #2010 [no pic] 40watt w/bracket $40.00 or 60 watt $60.00
custom autosound doesn't sell direct. dual speakers mounted on fibre board slides over dash bracket dash side and then bracket goes over original speaker stud with one nut. 10 minute job if radio is out.

Why not just go with a 6.5 component set in kickpanel

Pyle brand is about bottom of the barrel like boss audio
bose is top of home audio, but way better options for $$ in car audio
if you want something top self it isnt going to be a coaxial 4x10
    oval speakers simply suck

just finished with speaker setup and hidden radio setup.
the speakers sound fine, happy with the way it turned out it fills out the sound in the front.
sure i could of bought more expensive speakers or pre-made but i ventured on this little project, which it was.
