How did these prices get so out of control? OPGI had 'em in their catalog for $315. Now, they're $479 in their online catalog! Are they made in Iraq or something? Have terrorists hit the plant or something? What gives? I found a kit on ebay for Chevelles but I don't know if they're the same. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&item=4509704263&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT
I just ordered a Super front end kit fron Performance suspension technologies for my `67 GS Convert. which includes everything except centerlink, and idler arm which i had to order seperatly and the kit is $309 for the rubber kit, their websight is www.p-s-t.com check `em out. Thanks
The polygraphite front end kit doesn't include INNER tie rod ends. Somebody missed the boat on this kit. The SUPER kit has just about everything but is still $489. http://www.p-s-t.com/gm/gmfekpg.html
www.espo.com is a lot less for the same . There are only two makers of poly. Just to give you an example as of this week if you needed just the lower polys PST was $80 for the 4 and espo was $65 for the entire lower AND uppers. For the same springs PST is often be $200 a set and for Moog espo would be $100-150, PST is big on the ad budget and their prices.
PST stuff is cheap foreign made junk. I used 2 of their kits, and both had ball joint problems. I only buy MOOG stuff. The quality is much better than PST. if you don't believe me, put a PST part next to a MOOG part.
Paul really?i wasnt aware of their balljoint problems?how`s there centerlinks, tie rods and stuff? Thanks
The only thing PST "makes" is the poly. The parts in the kit come from who ever bids on it. Call them and ask, I did and thats the answer I got. So beware... Note - Zone, etc sells the MOOG center link for under $40. Check it out before you order one for $99! - Bill
well good lookin out guys,i cancelled my order from PST,and went out to my local parts store today and ordered everything in Moog, the only think thats been discontinued from Moog was the centerlink so he had to get that from Delco or GM. Thanks
