Front Disc Brake Hose

    Just want to avoid the junk - looking for a recommendation for braided front disc brake hoses - not the OEM rubber, the braided ones.

    Wilwoods are what are on both of my cars.They also have ones that work with factory calipers.

    I think I used the OEM rubber style and they have lasted about 20 years. They look like they could use a freshen up now though....

    I think I have Russell braids on all 4 corners.

    Wildwood have different sizes; when I converted to wildwood from calipers I also ordered the braided lines, I think they were 12" and I wasn't comfortable with the length after install, so I just used the original rubber hoses. I put them on my buddy's 70 Chevelle and they came out great with good braking performance. Just make sure you get the right length

    Wilwood now uses "flexlines" - basically universal hoses with different fittings for the ends per application. At least that's what I found.
