    Hi Guys,

I've just found the forum while looking for information about Rivieras. I bought an 1969 Riviera GS and just shipped overseas to Hungary. After a quick inspection it seems a pretty solid and rust free car, hopefully it will be back on the road again next spring. Of course we have a lot of things to do on it. The goal is to keep it original inside and out.

    Some fresh photos:

The potential for issues under a vinyl top is a major risk for your Riviera.

Did the container come down the Danube?

Yeah. Wind teared the top while we moved it on a trailer and almost the whole top was exposed and seemed almost rust free. Hopefully it will look good around the back window too. We'll find out soon.

My wife and I plan to travel to Budapest in 2019 and cruise up the Danube to Munich. Budapest is a city with a lot of history.
