ive had this happen too,i always seal the head bolts and timing cover bolts too, grey bolt prep i think permatex makes it,ultra copper works too from a tube, not spray, the cooling system has to be drained to re seal them properly, let the sealer set up,the next day i re fill the system. ive never had a cracked head, block or blown head gasket, mine was a non sealed bolt not sure wich i sealed all that went to coolant, but you dont make that mistake twice.if you had a cracked head or cyl wall id think youd get junk floating in your radiator too(foamy oil)or rapid bubbling,or combustion pushing coolant right out of the radiator,
usually you see coolant fill a cyl with over ported heads,if yours are stock, there is a chance when you overheated it ,somewhere you got a crack, usually if you pour cool water in a overheating engine.depending on core shift you have a cracked exh valve seat, but youd think it would smoke, smell anti freeze in the exh and have a coolant soaked plug or at least white crusty burnt coolant on it.if re sealing the bolts doesnt fix it,check the plugs, while out pressure test cooling system to 16 psi, maybe coolant will come out the plug hole,if not remove the oil drain plug and see if it comes out there, after all the oil drains out, pressureize the cooling system again then wait,if no drips
    hope you find it,very frustrating...
post your findings its very strange
