I know you can interchange A-body frames. I was wondering to what years. I have a 70 GS Boxed Frame fully powdercoated and was wondering what years it can be used for. I know it can be used for any 70-72 Buick but what else. My main wonder is would it work for a 68 GTO?
Unless there is something I know know about either GTO's or GS's then yes it would. The year groups are 64-67 and 68-72. The same goes with rearends though most of the remaining suspension stuff works for all 64-72 A-bodies. Exceptions are the Monte Carlo and Grand Prix frames as they are shared with a 4-dr A-body if I recall correctly not the 2-dr. Hope this gets you pointed in the right direction,
