well,we found a a sheet above the gas tank. Its seven numbers off from my vin:af: my vin is 103606 and this one is103613:error: So much for proving my car is a real Stage1. I did contact the dealership where the car was bought new,so far no luck there:blast: We did find what appears to be a section of a build sheet,it has stuff written in pen on it. Can I scan it and post it on here to find out what is is?
Heres the small piece we found. The guy I bought this car from took it apart 11 years ago. He thinks it was under the seat. The larger build sheet was on top of the gas tank. I just a build sheet in the rear package tray on a 71 GS350 car I just picked up
the one above the gas[the incorrect one :af: ]. We found a reciept for rear tires, and the car only had 23,000 miles on it. He went with L60`s
My 71 stage 1 and a few other Flint build cars have had these small handwritten cards with body info.(Fisher body employees?) Unless I miss my guess this is a GS coupe with AO1 tinted glass(windshield?), M20 4 speed, Trim 166 Saddle bucket seats and B80 (moldings?). When I get to my safe deposit box I will pull mine out. I swear to god the handwriting looks the same as my card which seems to list the same info, Trans, model, seats, glass, moldings. All stuff that relates to the main body of the car. I am sure someone knows more than I do, but I have definately seen these before.
