I talked an old guy out of a very nice Dunebuggy he built in southern California in 1957 or 58. He does't remember what year engine it was exactly. He mated it up to a Ford 3-speed tranny and Ford rear end through an adapter that was commercially available at the time. The engine must have bad a Buick manual transmission originally, I suppose. What's the best way to identify the year and displacement of this engine? Anybody thing there is much interst in Nailhead-powered dunebuggies from that era?
