That was Bachman-Turner Overdrive, not The Guess Who - similar group of Mormons, but not the same group!

As a Canadian, you should be ashamed for getting that wrong. :error:

Seriously, I was listening to Buckingham Nicks today while driving to DC. Anyone ever hear that album? Other stuff I listened to today I bet no one's heard of (lots of regional stuff), but the more mainstream ones were the Flamin' Groovies and Terry Riley.

Have we forgotten just the greatest country road rippin' song ever? "Red Barchetta"-Rush. Or how about some Judas Priest-"Hellbent for Leather"? Or "Lovedrive" by the Scorpions. Yeah, rocking.

Radioactive by The Firm. How can you go wrong with Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page?

ANyone ever hear Armageddon by the band with the same name> There a 12 min gutar riff that will knock your socks off. On vynil only. ALso I found a copy of JJ Cales Trubador with his original recording of Cocaine! That whole disc is so bluesy with a rock edge that most don't seem to care for it but I love it. If you can get your hands on that Aramgeddon album do it. Amazing . I understand 2 of the original members are no longer living. Not to be confused with the newer Armageddon of the 80's

Armageddon had the singer from the Yardbirds, plus some other veterans . . . maybe a dude from Captain Beyond?

Actually, it's from around 1975. If you go to YouTube, you can find clips.

OK, bringing this back to the top, since I actually found this on You Tube... there are two distinct halves to this song. First half is more mellow, then the second half really kicks ass, especially if you like Scottish/Celtic rock music.:TU:

    Enjoy..:beer

Bryan Adams did some writing for Prisim back then.
The singer for Prisim passed away many years back, maybe around 1980 ?
If I remember corrctly he was killed riding a bicycle to a band members house.
But not %100 on that .

Moxy had Tommy Bolin at one point, I believe.

And Motherlode is a 1-hit wonder band. I think the song was "When I Die" or something like that.

One Hit....yes. How many others had one, countless.

Google Motherlode for more info>>>especially their lyrics.
Have their LP here. It's good.
