I have a nice set of Sealed Power Forged Pistons with wrist pins .030 . Minor scars on two & one Brand new piston & pin . 2 sets of pins . Coated skirts have minor scuffs . These are lucky to have 200 street mile . They were in a 1970 GS Stage 1 Engine for one of my cars . Ring Lands have No Damage clean & Free . A rod broke and small pieces hit the botton of two pistons . I replaced the other For a complete set

    Nick,
Hi, hope you are doing well, what would compression ratio be roughly with these? Tony

    Tony,

These I believe are stock 1970 spec replacement . I am pretty certian . I would have to look for the compression height .

They would be a 1.975 compression height, -27.3 cc dish. 8.81 CR with 71cc heads, 8.94 CR with 69cc heads, with .040 head gaskets.

I'll take them if it gets to me.

Just for something to talk about what part of the rod broke after only 200 miles?

Mike , the engine was rebulit & not by me . I am to guess either a crack or thin webbing ...My guess by the crappy Machine work I found & poor assembly the rods were not magnafluxed or resied Too many times It broke at the machined step where the rod bolt sits @ Crank Journal .
