Hemming's has two Superformance GT-40's up for sale, take your pick.....love that light blue gulf color scheme. Awesome! Just don't have the extra 200k :(

Well, just got home from seeing Ford vs Ferrari and WOW what a movie!! I know some of the information/facts are inaccurate but hey it's a movie. Every "true story" film has to be altered to appease the audience and for sales purposes. I could watch that movie a million times over and never get bored of it. I envy most of you guys that grew up in that era during the peak of racing and muscle car wars. I swear I was born in the wrong generation.

What do you know! Looks like Bruce w and Scott do it again...

This is a real Shelby Cobra.. Bruce said they had issues with the Bosch abs.

Should have been titled "Miles to Go".

As I saw it the movie was Shelby American vs Ford Motor Company. The climactic Lemans race was tremendous. The rest of it seemed a little forced and sorely missing any 427" engine R&D to speak of. The Falcon assembly line shutdown was almost laughable and did not fit what so ever.

Damon did alright with Shelby but Bales performance as Miles was lacking (might have been direction because he is talented). The dude playing Ford seemed exceptional in his role as did the head of Ferrari. While a viritually all male cast was refreshing, I would not put this movie on any personal favorites list. 3 out of 5 stars.

My Father worked for Western Airlines at LAX in '65, '66, and '67, BUT was somehow oblivious to the Shelby story unfolding over on the cargo side of the field.
