first let me say that i am a demolition derby driver. i have a turn key 1966 buick electra 225 with a 445 wildcat,and this car is in to nice of shape to smash, but if it comes to it (I WILL STRIP IT AND SMASH IT !!) the car is 95 % rust free 4 door all glass is good was inspected in 98 power windows,power locks, power seats, inter is very nice every thing works but the radio. has a blown brake line. Other than that you could drive it home. If you bend it, you won't like it. Tried a couple out west here and they dump the rear virtually immediately. 3 legit hits = you DONE ! If you play cat and mouse, you may make a heat. A couple hits with a "decent" wagon, or a good sedan, your out. Good luck, and I'de take it off your hands were you closer. Or trade you out of it with a rollin' sedan body............
it won't bend when im done with it complete off frame build,good plating, good welding and she be fine ran a 67 in alot worse shape than this one got 6 derbys out of her 3 county wins the frame was still straight just the body was literly falling off the car . I DON'T PLAY CAT AND MOUSE , WE CALL THAT (SAND BAGGING). HIT HARD OR GO HOME.
AWWWWWWW I understand now. If your welding that's a whole new ball game. Most of the guys out here pull bodies even for no-weld classes. Lotsa tricks there if you look in the right places. Good luck.
a local driver here put a '61 lincoln on a GM frame, that thing was a TANK!! he even has a couple '68 imperials in his stash
?? don't know?? i don't know i wish this car was to some use to someone but im either going to trade her for banshee or strip her soon some 18 year old kid wants to swap me his banshee for it i don't really need the wheeler but i don't really need the car either,don't know but prob do something soon

Yes yes the car is still here a guy was going to trade me a monaco for it but the monaco has a bad frame so i don't want that but this car is just staring to bug me everyone thinks there going to get it for nothing, thats not the case the( car is worth at least $500.00 to me to SMASH.) so bring me an offer i have lots of pics and can get you pics of what ever part of the car you want, but im not going to wait much longer befor i start on it.
