These aluminum bushings fit the 12 bolt Chevrolet and benefit the 60ft times in racing, not for a street car. The inserts move very freely to aid the rearend in planting the tires. I bought these for my 70 GS and never used them as I already had installed Polyurethane bushings in the housing. Shipping from Denham Springs, LA

    Thanks

Paul, I wish I could remember who makes them. Tom Rix told me about them several years ago so I bought them but never got around to installing them. They are a very trick piece. I just don't know if I would use them on the street all the time due to wear but I could be wrong.. Just my thoughts, Thanks

those are good since they don't let the rear arms bind up. ever put an a body up on a lift with all 8 rear bushings being urethane? it binds like no tomorrow. i have a set of adjustable upper arms that have heim joints which allow full movement. when i did my bushings in my 65 i left the rubber ones in the rear end so it wouldn't bind. sorry to turn this into a tech article.
