flush and reuse old converter ?

    here is a pic of the trash that was in the pan. will flushing the converter give good results or should i replace it ?

    I would imagine that the convertor is going to have its share of trash in it given the debris in the pan. Flushing it is a risky deal. For what a new one costs, I think that I would replace, especially if the tranny is going to be rebuilt. Thanks, Rudy E

    Don't even think about it unless you want to ruin your new transmission. Get a new converter.
