Happy Turkey day everyone!! Christmas is coming and I would like some floor mats for my 70 GS 455 car. It has black interior, where is the best place to get good stock looking floor mats, I think vinal(sp) ones are stock. I bought some from the Parts Place, they were carpeted and very poor, did not even cover the moulded plastic in the carpet. I know someone here used to sell or re-pro some, but cannot seem to locate them in my searches. Thanks for any info, Kevin
ACC carpet is what I have. They are correct fabric and can put a custom logo if you want it. Only thing is the mats are more expensive than the carpet. But it was money well spent. www.accmats.com
I have those in my 70. They look great and you cant tell them from originals. I believe they get 199.95 for the set of four. Highly recommended
I have a set of rubber mats from Legendary. These are the ones with a white Tri-shield and a red GS. Very nice - easy clean-up, full coverage. Actually look quite stock. Run about $120 for four. Sharp enough looking to warrant leaving them in for shows.
Frank, Are those what the factory ones look like? I was unaware that they covered so much carpet. I am thinking about your offer, just curious, why you are wanting to get rid of those? Kevin
The only place that has the original mats under repro is CARS www.oldbuickparts.com. The rest are not the same as originals.
I like the look of bare carpet, it turns out. I got these at Year One, I think. I don't believe OEM mats had a GS or any red... just a tri shield. I could be wrong... anybody know for sure? Frank
