Ordered from Summit for stock single exhaust 1968 Skylark 350 non header car to convert to dual exhaust.

Pull off single y-pipe stock exhaust system.

Lay out Flowmaster American Thunder dual exhaust.

It looks short from manifold to H-pipe.

No local shops have or will fab headpipe/downpipe without car there including Mufflex in NJ who does alot of exhaust work.

What are my alternatives/options to get 2.5 inch pipes to make the system fit.

Will the Turbo Tech 2.5" downpipe kit for Buick 350 part #GMXB25100 work?

    TIA

Called TA Performance and they took care of it. Needed a 2 1/2" downpipe set to complete the job. Kit was $99 plus S&H. Phew!:)

Thought this was gonna turn into a custom shape and cut fiasco.

    Gotta admit

Torque Tech (didn't have it in production yet)
    Mufflex
    Summit

to the T were as helpful as could be from far away and not knowing or seeing the car. gotta give em a :TU:

    72skylark 4 Doors of Fury!

That's the system I have. I started with the TA downpipes, which work great. It sounds awesome, but sounds alot better after the header upgrade. Good luck.

That's all my neighbors need. Two 350 cars with headers and exhaust starting up in the early AM. I already get notes on the Z, but it passes the decibels on inspection every year (without the Borla block off plate in).
