Flexplate installation

Now I know I read somewhere on the board the correct way to install the flexplate on the 455. Seems I can't find that thread anywhere.
Does it install with the weight side towards the block, or does the weight face away toward the tranny. I'm assuming it can be bolted on either way.

It will bolt on only one way. The last one I installed I rotated the flexpalte half a dozen times to get the bolt holes to line up, only to realise I had it on backwards! :error:

 

Thanks Alan, I was sure the flexplate could be bolted up either way.

 

Your correct Alan, only goes on one way. And for the info, the flexplate weight faces toward the rear of the car.
