Flex plate change out

    I am getting a flex plate to replace the cracked one I have. It may be from a 66 401. I have a 66 425, If this plate matches up the same as mine do I "HAVE TO" balance it or should it be OK to bolt and go?

    Lou: My parts book lists the 401 as 1372132, 425 is 1372130. Possible different balance because of heavier pistons? I believe the harmonic balancer is different also. Frank
